George S. Michael - President and CEO
The Founder of Advanced Language Services, George Michael, is one of the
leading experts in the language services industry, and has been a well
known Arabic linguist for the past 20 years.
Previously Michael has been the
President of Diplomatic Language Services, which is one of the largest
language Services Providers in America. He has also been the President
of SMI – Global Mission Support, and he currently is the CEO and
President of Advanced Language Services.
Michael was selected by the Pentagon to
audit the Government's translation of the historic Bin Laden Tape.
He was also selected by the Department of Justice to audit the indicting
material for the Trial of Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman in New York.
Early in his career Michael worked as a
State Department Translator and Interpreter and issued several
Conformity Certificates for international treaties.
He has also worked as a contractor
tester at the Language Services Department for the FBI, as well as a
technical translator and analyst for the Department of Defense (DIA),
and is now a successful full time free lance linguist (translator,
interpreter, and instructor).
After September 11, Michael was hand
picked to lead the project management of an inter-agency response
project in which all major agencies were involved. Michael
was editor for more than 100 analyists and linguists.
He has managed 6 major classified
Department of Defense projects in the area of language services for our
armed forces via the DIA.
